Backend developer

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend solutions. Build and maintain architecturally robust, scalable, and efficient backends using Kotlin and Spring (or the ability to quickly pick up Kotlin). Work within a DevOps workflow, ensuring seamless integration of backend services. Provide valuable insights and recommendations regarding server-side technologies, architectures, and deployment strategies. Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and advancements in backend development.

Independent and flexible mindset, capable of managing tasks autonomously. Proficient in Kotlin and Spring (or equivalent backend languages/frameworks) with the ability to quickly adapt and learn new languages. Experienced with Git for version control and collaboration. Familiar with Docker for containerization. Experienced with backend languages such as Typescript (optional, but a plus). Experienced with configuration/building on open-source CMS platforms (optional, but a plus). Experienced with application deployment and maintenance on Amazon Web Services (optional, but a plus). Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
